Mike Brenner is the Managing Principal of Brenner Development Group, a privately-owned real estate development, investment, and management firm. With a diverse portfolio that spans luxury residential and commercial properties, Brenner Development Group builds on the legacy of the Brenner Real Estate Group, established in 1987. Under Mike’s leadership, the firm has consistently delivered high-quality projects, leveraging strategic insights and a commitment to value creation.

Growing up in a real estate family, Mike has guided his firm through significant expansions in its asset portfolio, which now includes developments in Florida and Colorado. His expertise in creative deal structures has been pivotal in growing the firm’s reach while ensuring risk mitigation and high returns for investors.

Mike is also a U.S. Navy veteran, bringing a disciplined, mission-focused approach to real estate. His academic achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate from Florida State University, a Master’s in Real Estate Development + Urbanism, and an Executive M.S. in Construction Management from the University of Miami. This educational foundation, combined with his military background, allows Mike to approach each project with precision, foresight, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

In addition to his role at Brenner Development Group, Mike is actively involved in community service. He is involved with many Jewish and Veteran Organizations, including the Jewish Federation of Broward County, and leads VetREACH, a non-profit initiative aimed at supporting transitioning veterans in building careers in real estate. His commitment to helping others extends to partnerships with organizations like Broward VetWorking and The Veterans Trust.

Scott Brenner, founder of Brenner Real Estate Group, has been a driving force in South Florida’s commercial real estate market for over 35 years. His firm became known for its success in development, property management, and brokerage, gaining a reputation for delivering results and fostering strong investor relationships.

Scott is proud to see his son, Mike Brenner, continue the family legacy with the creation of Brenner Development Group. Mike played a pivotal role in Brenner Real Estate Group long before its assets were sold in 2017. Even while in college, Mike worked closely with Scott on key projects, including the construction and sale of a historic renovation spec home and a new construction spec home in Telluride, Colorado. Mike also helped entitle and sell a 5-unit townhouse project in Mizner Park, Boca Raton, showcasing his strategic insight and hands-on approach to real estate.

With this solid foundation, Mike now leads Brenner Development Group, bringing fresh vision and innovative strategies to the company. Scott’s mentorship, combined with Mike’s leadership, ensures that the Brenner legacy continues to thrive, setting new standards in the real estate industry while upholding the family’s values of integrity, innovation, and community focus.
